In celebration of Earth Day 2006, The Tishman Environment and Design Center, a new initiative of The New School, is sponsoring a roundtable discussion about regional sustainable agriculture which will explore the following issues:

• The Ecology of Eating: A Menu of Sustainable Alternatives
• Food Security: Sustainable Food Markets and Community Health
• The Urban Food Shed: Slow Food to Slow Sprawl
• Farm to Table: Regional Organic Agriculture in Practice
• Farming Futures: Climate Change and the Regional Food Supply

Scheduled panelists include:

• Hilary Baum, director of the Baum Forum
• Nevin Cohen, professor at Eugene Lang College The New School For Liberal Arts
• Erich McEnroe of McEnroe Organic Farms
