In celebration of Earth Day 2006, The Tishman Environment and Design Center, a new initiative of The New School, is sponsoring a roundtable discussion about regional sustainable agriculture which will explore the following issues:
- The Ecology of Eating: A Menu of Sustainable Alternatives
- Food Security: Sustainable Food Markets and Community Health
- The Urban Food Shed: Slow Food to Slow Sprawl
- Farm to Table: Regional Organic Agriculture in Practice
- Farming Futures: Climate Change and the Regional Food Supply

- Nevin Cohen, professor at Eugene Lang College The New School For Liberal Arts
