Mannes College The New School for Music Presents The Late Romantics Festival

WHAT: Mannes College The New School for Music presents a gala event celebrating the conclusion of a year-long festival “The Late Romantics.” During 2005, legendary figures of musical romanticism from the mid-19th to the early-20th century were brought back to life through concerts and master classes featuring Vladimir Feltsman, Richard Goode, Eteri Andjaparidze, and many other luminaries. Contemporary giants of classical music performed numerous romantic works from more than fifteen countries. This final concert features piano, vocal, and chamber masterworks of romanticism, performed by the most gifted students at Mannes.
