MANNES COLLEGE OF MUSIC TO PRESENT A MASTER CLASS WITH VIOLINIST JAIME LAREDO ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 30, 2005, 10 AM

(New York, NY - February 4, 2005) New School University’s Mannes College of Music will present a master class with violinist Jaime Laredo on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Mannes master classes are free and open to the public and take place at Mannes College of Music, 150 West 85th Street, NYC. In more than forty years before the public, Jaime Laredo has excelled in the multiple roles of soloist, conductor, recitalist and chamber musician. Since his stunning orchestral debut at the age of eleven with the San Francisco Symphony, he has won the admiration and respect of audiences, critics and fellow musicians with his passionate and polished performances. This season, as he has for over twenty-five years, Jaime Laredo will interweave solo and conducting dates with his chamber music appearances as a member of the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio, both here and abroad. Orchestral dates in 2004-05 include appearances with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, the Syracuse Symphony and the Vermont Symphony.
