(New York, NY - September 10, 2004) The Actors Studio Seminars: The Craft of Theater and Film at New School University announces the line-up for the fall 2004 semester. Guests will include Cameron Diaz (November 22, 2004), Colin Farrell (November 1, 2004), Jamie Foxx (October 25, 2004), Salma Hayek (November 8, 2004), Robert Redford (December 6, 2004), and Mark Wahlberg (October 11, 2004). Host James Lipton will interview these artists in-depth about their lives and careers. The Actors Studio Seminars begin on Monday, September 27, 2004 and run for 8 sessions through December 20, 2004. All seminars begin at 7:00 p.m. at New School University, Tishman Auditorium, 66 West 12th Street, NYC.

The Actors Studio Seminars is taped for later broadcast as the award-winning show “Inside the Actors Studio” on Bravo. “Inside the Actors Studio” has been nominated nine times for an Emmy, including this year for “Outstanding Nonfiction Series.” The show is currently seen in more than 76 million homes. The show has also received two Cable ACE Award nominations, winning for Best Talk Show in 1997. In 2001, the show won the Golden Angel Award for Excellence for Media in Best Interview Show and in 2002 was awarded the Gold Medal as the World’s Best Talk/Interview Program by the world’s largest international television competition, the New York Festivals.

James Lipton, the executive producer, writer and host of the series, is dean emeritus of the Actors Studio Drama School of New School University. Following the interview, students in the Actors Studio Drama School's M.F.A. program participate in a class with the guest.
