(New York, NY – January 21, 2003) The Actors Studio Seminars: The Craft of Theater and Film at New School University welcomes Jeff Bridges, John Goodman, Jeremy Irons, John Travolta, Joanne Woodward and Renée Zellweger as guests on the series this spring 2003 semester. Host James Lipton will interview these exceptional artists in-depth on their lives and careers. The Actors Studio Seminars begin on Monday, February 10, 2003 and run for 8 sessions.

The Actors Studio Seminars is taped for later broadcast as the award-winning show "Inside the Actors Studio" on the Bravo Television Network. "Inside the Actors Studio" has been nominated seven times for an Emmy, including last year for Outstanding Non Fiction Special for "Inside the Actors Studio: 100th Guest Special" (with Gene Hackman) and for Outstanding Non-Fiction Series for "Inside the Actors Studio: Robin Williams." The show has also received two Cable ACE Award nominations, winning for Best Talk Show in 1997. In 2001, the show won the Golden Angel Award for Excellence for Media in Best Interview Show and in 2002 was awarded the Gold Medal as the World's Best Talk/Interview Program by the world's largest international television competition, the New York Festivals.

James Lipton, the executive producer, writer and host of the series, is Dean of the Actors Studio Drama School. Following the interview, students in the Actors Studio Drama School's M.F.A. program participate in a class with the guest.
