ACTORS STUDIO SEMINAR SERIES ANNOUNCES ARTISTS
FOR SPRING 2002 SEMESTER
GUESTS TO INCLUDE BILLY BOB THORNTON, DENNIS QUAID, HUGH
GRANT, RICHARD GERE, JOHNNY DEPP, AND BENICIO DEL TORO
(New York, NY January 22, 2002) The Actors Studio Seminar
Series at New School University welcomes Billy Bob Thornton, Dennis Quaid,
Johnny Depp, Hugh Grant, Richard Gere, Benicio Del Toro, and others this
spring 2002 semester. James Lipton, host, will interview these artists
on their lives and careers. The Seminar Series, which begins on January 28,
2002 and runs through May 13, 2002, meets for 8 sessions, on Monday evenings

The fee for the series is $350.
The Actors Studio Seminar Series is taped for later broadcast
as the award-winning show Inside the Actors Studio on Bravo Television
Network. Inside the Actors Studio has been nominated five times for an
Emmy, including last year for Outstanding Non-Fiction Series for Inside the
Actors Studio: Mike Myers. The show has also received two Cable ACE Award
nominations, winning for Best Talk Show in 1997.
James Lipton, the executive producer, writer and host of the series,
is Dean of the Actors Studio Drama School. Following the in-depth interview,
students in the Actors Studio Drama School's M.F.A. program participate in a
class with the guest.
