THE SCHUMANNS AND THEIR CIRCLE
FINAL FESTIVAL EVENT AT WEILL RECITAL HALL

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 19 AT 8PM

(New York, NY - November 15, 2001) On Wednesday, December 19, 2001 at 8pm, Mannes College of Music, a division of New School University, will be holding the culminating concert of the year-long festival The Schumanns and Their Circle. The Schumanns and Their Circle was organized by Artistic Director and Mannes’s Piano Department Chair, Pavlina Dokovska. The festival concerts featured the works of Robert and Clara Schumann, Johannes Brahms, Fanny and Felix Mendelssohn, Frederic Chopin and Franz Schubert. Soloists and chamber groups are made up of Mannes students and special guest artists.
