(September 29, 2000 – New York, NY) Parsons School of Design has put together an exceptional season of educational events and exhibitions, providing a diverse array of contemporary art and design issues.

Lecture series such as "Crosscurrents/Design for Social Change" feature key players in environmental justice and sustainable design. The "Design Talks" lecture series brings to campus such speakers as Brazilian designers Humberto and Fernando Campaña and renowned designer Michael Graves. Our Center for New Design offers a series of lectures on designing for e-commerce and wireless environments. Exhibitions like "Acoustic Architecture: Architectural Acoustics" and "Air of the East: Korean Fashion Design," bring international design viewpoints that challenge the viewer to see and think differently.
