Special Projects
Special Projects is responsible for the production and oversight of all photography, video, and broadcast content. This content is used in countless university materials to establish the brand, promote awareness, and drive enrollment. Each project’s style and direction emerges after a collaborative process between all stakeholders. Special Projects oversees the following areas:
Photography
- plans and supervises photo shoots for major events, publications, admission efforts, university websites, and more.
- identifies and creates image content and visual style that most effectively tells the story.
- maintains a database of all professionally generated photography that currently consists of over 75,000 image assets captured and edited since 2005.
Multimedia and Video
Broadcast
- represents the university’s interests to the Emmy-nominated show Project Runway, now on Lifetime.
- serves as the liaison between all who aspire to involve The New School in film, television, or internet broadcast productions.
