Public Relations

Public Relations is the main point of contact for the press and handles press relations, crisis management, and strategic messaging for the entire university. The New School is undergoing a significant renaissance, moving toward the realization of a more fully integrated university with expanded undergraduate programs–on campus and online–that unite its strengths in design, liberal arts, and the performing arts. The Public Relations office focuses on disseminating news that exemplifies this story. The office is also responsible for strategizing and positioning university events, people, and other news.

The office writes and distributes press releases, maintains a news blog and press clips and writes and disseminates The Weekly Observer, the university's in-house news organ.
