John Podesta, president and CEO of the Center for American Progress and former chief of staff to President Bill Clinton, will present the keynote address on climate change and the future of urban energy policy at the first inaugural program in the Cities Respond to Climate Change series. The event will include a discussion among leading energy experts and local government officials from New York City and elsewhere. The speakers will address the political and practical challenges America’s cities face in working to become more energy efficient in a time of climate change and rising fuel prices.

The series, sponsored by Con Edison, is hosted by Milano The New School for Management and Urban Affairs and the Center for New York City Affairs.
