WHERE IS HOME? designing cultural connection in a Brooklyn brownstone
Immigration can create an unsettling experience and perplexing family relationships. However, people continue to pursue better living opportunities around the world in order to escape oppressive conditions in their homeland. Through the design of the interiors, the younger generations are connected to their ethnic culture and the older generations transition to their new American culture. In other words, the interiors of this house foster cultural understanding.
