This University in Exile event features Chen Guangcheng, the blind activist lawyer recently permitted to leave China who is currently a visiting scholar at New York University School of Law; Jerome A. Cohen, professor of Law and co-director of the U.S.-Asia Law Institute at New York University School of Law, who was active in securing Chen Guangcheng's release; and Ira Belkin, executive director of the U.S.-Asia Law Institute at NYU School of Law. Event is free and open to the public. Please RSVP to cps@newschool.edu. Seating is limited, and preference will be given to those who have RSVP'd. The event will also be streamed live.
