MFA Fine Arts Show [AMT]

PART OF PARSONS FESTIVAL 2012: The MFA Fine Arts program at Parsons is proud to present the 2012 MFA Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition at The Kitchen in Chelsea. A reception is scheduled for May 10, from 7:00-9:00 p.m., and the exhibition is on view from May 11-19. Hours: Tues.-Fri. 12 noon-6:00 p.m.; Sat. 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Parsons' MFA Fine Arts program is a cross-disciplinary master's degree program; student practices span a wide range of genres and fields of research.

 

This year’s exhibition is curated by Jane Panetta and Veronica Roberts. Jane Panetta is currently an independent art historian who worked for several years at The Museum of Modern Art where she co-organized retrospectives on Richard Serra (2007) and James Ensor (2009). She currently works at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Veronica Roberts is Associate Curator of Contemporary Art at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. She curates, writes, and teaches about modern and contemporary art and has worked at numerous museums, including The Museum of Modern Art.
