Social Research: An International Quarterly launches its winter 2011 issue, devoted to the theme of “The Image,” with a colloquium focusing on the agency of images in the context of culture, the environment, and technology. The panel, co-sponsored by the School of Art and Design History and Theory at Parsons (ADHT), addresses the way image-driven domains shape our views of access and innovation and the limitations of images as sites of action.
