Pictoplasma, a conference taking place on November 4 and 5, invites designers, illustrators, filmmakers and producers, urban and fine artists, and character connoisseurs to gather under one roof and discourse freely about character-driven art and design. An ideal prelude to New York’s Illustration Week, the conference includes artist lectures and presentations, state-of-the-art animation and screening programs, and a lively panel discussion.
The line-up at this year’s conference includes Geneviève Gauckler (France), Jeremyville (Australia), Tim Biskup (United States), Allyson Mellberg Taylor (United States), BeatBots (Japan/United States), Jon Burgerman (United Kingdom), Joshua Ben Longo (United States), Ben & Julia (France/China), Raymond Lemstra (Netherlands), and Mark Jenkins (United States), covering a range of media and disciplines.
