Jazz Presents Series: Jane Ira Bloom

"The poet of the soprano saxophone" presents a special program of ballads with bassist Dean Johnson, pianist Dominic Fallacaro, and  drummer Adam Sorensen. Long known for the intense lyricism and allure of her saxophone sound, Bloom has put together an evening of American songbook standards and original ballads that showcase what she does best - play slowly.

  • Jane Ira Bloom - saxophone
  • Dominic Fallacaro - piano
  • Adam Sorensen - drums
  • Special Guest Dean Johnson - bass

The Jazz Presents series is funded in part by the New York State Council on the Arts.
