Parsons' educational philosophy reflects a view of the world as interconnected by technological, environmental, economic, and cultural systems. New School students—including those in Paris and New York—can develop their understanding of these systems by taking courses at any of our academic centers. Students from other colleges and universities are also welcome to study abroad at Parsons Paris.
Parsons Paris currently offers the following undergraduate and graduate degree programs—please visit the program pages for more information:
Undergraduate
Graduate
Parsons students can take advantage of learning opportunities at other Parsons centers—so students in New York can study in Paris and students in Paris can study in New York. Undergraduate students can study abroad in their junior year. Graduate students may be eligible to study abroad and should consult their advisors.
Students enrolled in intermediate- to advanced-level courses at other undergraduate institutions are welcome to study abroad at Parsons Paris for a semester or a year. Students interested in transferring course credits earned at Parsons Paris to their home schools should consult with their school's study-abroad office and a representative of their academic department.
Parsons' Summer Intensive Studies programs, offered in Paris and New York, are two- and four-week-long boot camps in art and design open to pre-college students (ages 16 years and older) and college-level and adult students. Students in Summer Intensive Studies programs benefit from academically rigorous classes set in artistically stimulating cities. Students who complete their program successfully may receive college credit.
