Mariele Capssa, a 2009 Parsons AAS Fashion Design alumna, has been awarded the prestigious Anne-Valerie Hash Internship in Paris at the International Arts of Fashion Design Competition and Fashion Show held at the Philadelphia Museum of Art on October 28, 2009.
Finalists presented two silhouettes to the jury and attendees that represented their interpretation of the show’s theme, Illusion. One of Capssa’s two designs for the competition was previewed at last season's 2009 AAS Line Debut.
The International Arts of Fashion Competition gives design and fashion students at the university level an opportunity take part in a design contest with students from around the world, concentrating on a common theme,.
