YouthNoise, a social networking website for youth activists, is seeking environmentally conscious students to serve as delegates at DROP, its November summit on the impending water crisis. The one-day conference, co-hosted by Parsons, is the initial step in a year-long internship for the 75 emerging activists selected as delegates. The internship program will include a combination of educational and community building activities aimed at positively impacting the water crisis.
The conference, which will take place on November 15 in the Theresa Lang Community and Student Center at The New School, kicks off a major new YouthNoise campaign to raise awareness about water issues. The summit and internship offer students the opportunity to work with prominent environmental organizations and connect with other student activists.
Students from all divisions at The New School are eligible to apply for a space in the delegation. To be considered, please complete an application form, and submit a resume and cover letter to email@example.com.
