Tyler Coburn is an artist and writer based in New York City. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature from Yale and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Southern California. For several years Coburn has served as a contributing editor to ArtReview and a regular critic for Art-Agenda (e-flux) and has also written for publications including Metropolis M Rhizome and Vitamin 3-D. Most recently he co-edited Paper Exhibition: Selected writings by Raimundas Malasauskas published this year by Sternberg Press. In his capacities as an artist Coburn has exhibited and performed at the Whitney Museum of American Art New York; The Institute of Contemporary Arts London; SculptureCenter New York; LA ART Los Angeles; Elizabeth Dee New York; Michael Benevento Los Angeles; FormContent London; and Tanya Leighton Berlin.
