Jessica Glasscock is a writer, college instructor and independent curator currently residing in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Her writings include the books Striptease: From Gaslight to Spotlight (2003) and American Fashion Accessories (2008) (written in collaboration with Candy Pratts Price). She was a co-curator of the recent retrospective Stephen Sprouse: Rock on Mars at Deitch Projects, and organized the lecture series Form Follows Fashion for the IDC program at Parsons The New School for Design. She is currently employed at The Costume Institute at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She has taught fashion history at Parsons The New School for Design since 2003.
