Marko is a Part Time Assistant Professor of Media and Design, and a Masters Thesis I & II and Major Studio I & II Instructor at Parsons MFADT Design & Technology Program. He is working currently on new R&D projects on novel hardware/software hybrids and collaborative workflows related to immersive multisensory interactive storytelling in context of future of cinema, as well as a novel anti violence wearable technology project for Asia with an interesting multidisciplinary team, to tackle related complex wicked and super wicked problems step by step, facing tens of millions of women in their daily lives.
Previously, Marko worked from 2007 to 2012 as a Senior Technology Manager at Eyebeam Art+Technology Center, and til 2015 as the Director of Technology and Research. He has visualized R142 subway cars in 3D for New York City MTA and Antennadesign, and has worked in concept design and R&D related to virtual/augmented reality, 3D, immersive interfaces at ESI Design and NEC Princeton R&D Labs.
Marko worked as the AV and Media Producer and Technology Consultant in “Eero Saarinen: Shaping the Future" touring international exhibition, as well as the Curator and Technology Advisor in “SAUMA: Design as Cultural Interface” exhibition. Marko has consulted and betatested for corporations such as Apple, Arkaos, Lightwave, Sseyo, Stereographics, Videodelic and Virtus. He is an avid electronic musician, synth bass player and maker of electronic musical instruments.
