  • BA Brooklyn College, Studied with Ad Reinhardt, Burgoyne Diller. Studied at The New School, School of Visual Arts, New York Foundation For The Arts Fellowship, NEA Commission, Connecticut Commission on The Arts Fellowship/Grant, Caldecott Medal, Vermont Studio Center Fellowship/residency, Triangle Resident. Clients: Viking Penguin, Lippincott, Cavendish, Lothrop, Lee, Shepard.Exhibitions include: The Whitney Museum, The Jewish Museum, Sotheby's/NYC, Westbeth, Etra Fine Art/Miami/The Painting Center, First Street Gallery Solo/Chelsea 2012-13 I am currently a member of Art In Embassies Program with the State Department, and will be exhibiting my paintings in Freetown,Sierra Leone for a period of two to three years. I have traveled widely through most of Western Europe, Japan, the Carribeans, Mexico, Puerto Rico, The Virgin Islands, Canada, and lived in France for two years. My studio is located near the Hudson River where the light inspires my work.  I teach both Color Theory and Watercolor at Parsons,The New School in AMT and CE.
