Lisa Maione is a Brooklyn-based graphic designer and entreprenuer. As a Part-time Lecturer in the School of Art, Media and Technology (AMT), she has most recently taught a variety of courses in art direction, editorial, and publication design. As of Fall 2013, she is teaching a sophomore course called Editorial Concepts, an introduction to visual and editorial strategies used in the magazine design process.
Her teaching at Parsons began in 2008 in the School of Constructed Environments
Through For Instance, a design practice, she collaborates with clients and designers to explore novel ways of visualizing information. Her past work includes publication design, branding, information graphics, book and magazine design, websites, lettering and typeface design.
Lisa is an alumna of Rhode Island School of Design in Graphic Design.
