  • As a part time faculty member within the Parsons First Year Studies Program, I teach the course syllabi for Space and Materiality. In this capacity I provide overview and direct instruction in the areas of technical and expressive drawing, wood and metal fabrication, basic mold-making, performance and video work. In addition, I facilitate and provide philosophical and formal critique of student’s work within a supportive setting. Within the context of art, architecture and fashion, I engage and expose students in areas of art history and philosophical inquiry as a means to investigate and create objects.

In my art practice I employ and reference everyday objects, forms, and materials to illustrate and draw attention to the banalities, imperfections, and shifting meanings of the social and physical environments we encounter every day. My sculptures and drawings have been featured in both national and international exhibitions, including White Columns, Artists Space, The Drawing Center and the Queens Museum of Art in New York, the Rokeby Gallery in London and Dunker Kulturhus in Helsinborg, Sweden.
