Currently, Vilislava heads Converse's Trend and Color research department. As part of her daily responsibilities, Vilislava studies, analyzes and visualizes upcoming consumer and product trends that will have an impact on the creation of future Converse product. Vilislava works with Converse's designers to translate seasonal concepts into visual trends, color direction and design language. Prior to Converse, Vili was employed as a Trends Editor at WGSN in New York City. As part of the global WGSN color and trends team, Vili was involved in analyzing and filtering current cultural and social shifts that will affect future trend and color directions. Vili was also responsible for reporting on current and upcoming trends for active sports, footwear and accessories, menswear and consumer behavior.Vili worked closely with some of WGSN America's top clients on seasonal strategy and creative direction. Before joining the WGSN team, Vili was part of Puma's design team where she was responsible for predicting and applying future trend and color information. Prior to that, Vili worked in creative development for retail spaces, ads, catalogs and packaging as a graphic designer at Reebok. Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, Vili holds a BFA degree from the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University in Boston, Massachusetts.
