In addition to teaching design management courses at Parsons, Dawn is the Founder and CEO of Moi-M'me Attire, a made-to-measure apparel business that designs and tailors custom suits and career clothing for professional women. Drawing upon her design and management experience, Dawn set out to find a way to offer stylish, well-fitted careerwear at a reasonable price. Following two years of research and product development, she launched her line in the fall of 2007. The brand has since been named "one of the best fashion labels for tall women" by O, The Oprah Magazine.Dawn is a frequent panelist and guest lecturer on the topic of entrepreneurship, including at NYU Stern, Columbia Business School, The New School University, the Harvard Business School Alumni Club and elsewhere. Dawn is a BFA, magna cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan School of Art + Design and earned her MBA from Columbia Business School.
