Parsons part-time faculty member since 1984.Previously: Decorative Arts Department Head and Auctioneer, Phillips Fine Art Auctioneers, NYC; Vice President and Auctioneer, Sotheby's, NYC; Adjunct Professor, Bard Graduate Center, NYC.Has lectured at: The Smithsonian Institution, Dallas Museum of Art, Houston Museum of Fine Arts, Portland Art Museum, Chrysler Museum, Colonial Williamsburg, New Orleans Museum of Art, Corning Museum of Glass, Arkansas Arts Center, The Wedgwood Society of Boston (Annual Lecture), Sotheby's Paris (in French), Winterthur; Ceramics in America Seminar.Seen frequenlty as an appraiser on the PBS television "Antiques Roadshow" since the first season.Books include "Lalique Glass" (1986), "Majolica" (1989) and "Art Deco" (2005), with international sales over 100,000 copies. Articles published regularly in numerous publications, including "Cigar Aficionado" and "Wine Spectator".
