Colin Stearns

II am a photo-based artist that understands my world better through the copious study and production of objects and images. My primary obsession is a personal narrative via the study of landscape. My work has been exhibited in Pingyao, China and Tokyo, Japan while also showing in New York. His work has also recently published in Supermassive Black Hole magazine, Conveyor magazine and The Photo Review. I earned my MFA in Studio Art from Hunter College and a BFA concentrating in photography and printmaking from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
