Stearns, Colin

I am a photographer that doesn't know how to write in the 3rd person. I make a lot of pictures because I can't help myself. It's what I want to do all the time. Beyond that I teach, to people like me. That is they need and want to make photographs. I've had shows, from Ireland, Dallas, Chicago, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia and Tokyo. I also worked at UPS, a Bakery, a one person Landscaping company, a pizza place and a law firm too. I've had the honor of teaching at amazing places; Hale County Alabama (HERO Project) teaching GED students, University of Alabama, Harold Washington Community College, Shelton State Community College. SAIC (I taught high school kids there), I have a MFA from Hunter College and BFA from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago and I have served on the Northeast board of the Society of Photographic Education.
