    Raquel Laneri

    Profile

    Raquel Laneri is a freelance journalist and cultural critic focusing on fashion, literature, and the arts. Her work has been published by The New York Post — where she was a features reporter for four years — as well as The New York Times, The Daily Beast, TIME, Newsweek, Refinery29, Bustle, The New Inquiry, and Open Magazine. She started her career as a copyeditor and then special projects editor at Forbes.com. She has led critical-writing workshops at Syracuse University and has spoken to journalism classes at Columbia University, New York University, and Lehigh University. She has a master's degree in arts journalism from Syracuse University. She studied English and music performance at the University of Michigan.
