    Research Interests

    Design, architecture, and art through a sociological lens. Exploring how art, objects, and the built environment affect personal and group identities, reflect the beliefs and traditions of cultures, serve as social conditioning tools, and have the power to incite societal change.

    Analyzing Western museums as institutional embodiments of colonial legacies in their administrative practices, architectural structures, and through their fundraising, collecting, and curatorial practices.
