Mr. Wesselius started his career as a Fellow at McKinsey and Company. Heico spent 8+ years as a Management Consultant for IBM Business Consulting Services (IBM BCS) advising leading companies on issues of strategy, organization and technology in North-America, Europe and Asia. Among others, he was part of the global account team of Goldman Sachs and Company, Microsoft, CISCO Systems, NTT and Nortel Networks. Prior to his work at IBM BCS, he worked in finance at Barings Investment Bank in London in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group, which he subsequently left to pursue his dream of working in strategy consulting and subsequently in academia.Mr.Wesselius is currently completing a Doctorate in Economics at the New School University. Previously, he taught various courses at St. Francis College (Brooklyn Heights) in the Business and Economics Department and at PACE University. Heico has written several papers on the topic of emerging technologies and competitive strategy. Mr. Wesselius has held a principal faculty position at Parsons The New School For Design for the past 6+ years where he teaches courses in strategic management, entrepreneurship and business design. He has also taught lectures in design entrepreneurship and business design at Columbia Business School (CBS), Harvard Business School (HBS). He is the principal sponsor on the Master course between Parsons and Columbia University called 'Design and Marketing of Luxury Goods'.
