Parsons part-time faculty member since 1984.Previously: Decorative Arts Department Head and Auctioneer, Phillips Fine Art Auctioneers, NYC; Vice President and Auctioneer, Sotheby's, NYC; Adjunct Professor, Bard Graduate Center, NYC. Seen frequenlty as an appraiser on the PBS television "Antiques Roadshow" since the first season. Books include "Lalique Glass" (1986), "Majolica" (1989), "Art Deco" (2005) and "Bespoke Mascots" (2014), with international sales over 100,000 copies. Lectures widely at museums nationally. Articles published regularly in numerous publications, including "The Intelligent Collector", "Cigar Aficionado" and "Wine Spectator".
