Book designer and publication art director: Ray has designed books for Harry N. Abrams, Inc. and served as Art Director of all of their print collateral materials. He has also designed books for Pantheon, Random House, Summit, Onomatopoiea, Inc., Viking, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Via Media. He has also been on the design staffs of Harper's Bazaar, Rolling Stone and Essence magazines as well as serving as Art Director for Essence, Crawdaddy and Avenue magazines. In addition to publishing, he has worked on corporate identification and branding programs for Baker and McKenzie, Blenheim Capital Management, L.L.C., Communications Network, East-West Group, Ltd., Fauh Associates, Gentlemen's Quarterly, The Leadership Network, New Country Gear, New York Life, Tricon U.S.A., Inc. and The Starfish Foundation for Children with AIDS.
