Part-time Assistant Professor
Nicholas Brinen founded Lightshed in Brooklyn, NY to provide creative resourcefulness for projects that possess constraints of space, budget, time, and unique situations. He received his M.Arch in sustainable architecture from the University of Texas at Austin and prior to that received his undergraduate architecture degree from the University of Florida. Before the launch of Lightshed, Nick worked on multiple projects with Sasaki Associates in Boston and Smith-Miller + Hawkinson Architects in NYC. Nick has taught at The New York Institute of Technology, The University of Texas, and is currently a studio professor at Parsons The New School for Design.
