Art and Design History and Theory

Academic advising for the History of Decorative Arts and Design program within the School of Art and Design History and Theory (ADHT) is coordinated by graduate program faculty and staff.

If you are a Parsons undergraduate student enrolled in another program other, the academic advisors for your school will familiarize you with the required Art and Design History and Theory courses, as well as the electives available through different pathways of study. Advisors in all of Parsons' schools recognize that it is important for students to develop their ideas in the context of the history, theory, and culture of art and design practices, processes, and products.

In preparation for your advising meeting and Web registration, please visit Registration Information for your program's start dates and times and other important registration instructions.
