Olympiades Residence Complex

  • New for Fall 2014

    Parsons Paris will offer housing in 25 studio apartments in the Olympiades student residence complex. Olympiades is a newly constructed complex located in Paris’ 13th arrondissement, close to the Bibliothèque François Mitterrand, on line 14 of the Paris metro. Travel time to Parsons Paris is 15 to 20 minutes.

    Each studio contains a bed, desk, table, chair or couch, and bookcase and includes a bathroom and kitchenette with a refrigerator, stovetop, pantry, dishes, and utensils. Studios are 17 to 18 square meters (183 to 194 square feet) in size.

    Olympiades is staffed by a Parsons Paris community advisor (CA), who serves as a peer advisor and can help students with needs related to dorm life.

    The cost for the 2014–2015 academic year is $19,726. (Olympiades housing is not available on a semester-by-semester basis.)

    Preparing to Apply

    Before you can apply for student housing, you must have done the following:

    • Been accepted as a full-time student by one of the academic divisions of The New School
    • Received your New School ID number (N+8 digits)
    • Paid your tuition deposit (where applicable)
    • Received instructions for logging on to my.newschool.edu

    How to Apply

    Once you have all the above information, you can begin your application for student housing.

    • Log on to my.newschool.edu.
    • Select the "Student" tab and find the housing application link.
    • Fill out the online application.
    • Electronically sign the 2014–2015 Housing Contract.
    • Pay the non-refundable housing deposit of $250 (part of submitting the application).
    • Wait for your 2014–2015 room and roommate assignment information.

    Your housing application is not complete until you have made your $250 housing deposit. Please remember that this is a full academic year contractual obligation unless you are a mobility student living in the shared apartments, graduating, or studying abroad for spring 2015.
