The following information serves as a guide for procuring on-campus catering. The suggestions are subject to university guidelines on procurement and expenses; further information is provided to assist in planning the details of your catered event.
The university has institutional relationships with several food, beverage, and catering vendors, listed below. These vendors recognize the university’s tax-exempt status and may offer additional pricing or service considerations. Select vendors choose to accept the university’s newcard for payment, allowing for additional ease of payment. We are happy to pursue additional relationships if interest warrants.

Grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, coffee, and pastry for small gatherings are always available at all campus dining venues. A list of campus dining locations can be found below. To facilitate ease of payment, departments may request a dedicated newcard that will be funded with a specified FOAP. Instructions can be found at the newcard site.

Lang Cafe is available for small-group catering. Available are additional to-go sandwiches, bottled beverages, breakfast pastries, and Box of Joe for hosts to pick up for their meetings. Please visit the cafe; one of the campus dining associates would be glad to assist with your to-go order.
In the event that a vendor is unable to provide staffing services for your event or you prefer to coordinate your own, the following resources provide ancillary waiter, bartending, and front-of-house services.

Can the caterer use the kitchen?
Because of capacity and health code requirements, we cannot grant external parties access to our university kitchens or other university food preparation facilities.
Do I need to perform my own setup and cleanup?
Vendors are not responsible for room configuration, trash receptacles and removal, general cleanliness, and other maintenance-related matters. Please request these services through the Facilities Sprocket work order system.
Delivery and setup options vary by vendor and are contingent on the details of each individual order. Clearly communicate all needs and requirements to the vendor to ensure the necessary levels of service for your event.
Can I use a caterer not listed as a preferred vendor?
You are welcome to use a caterer/vendor who is not listed as a preferred vendor. Please note that transactions are still subject to university guidelines on procurement and expenses.
