2009/10 Psychology Student Union Mission Statement
The New School for Social Research Psychology Student Union (PSU) is a student-run organization aimed at helping students become more acquainted with The New School Department of Psychology, their peers, the faculty, and the field in general. Our mission is to provide a welcoming social environment as well as a forum for psychology students to express their concerns. We maintain an open conduit of communication between students, faculty, and administration, acting as an intermediary between groups. In addition, PSU will provide mentoring in order to acclimate new students to the program.
