Profile:Melissa Monroe, adjunct professor of liberal studies and coordinator of the Graduate Writing Center, has previously taught English and linguistics at Stanford University, Berkeley, and Fordham. A specialist in stylistics, translation, and phonology, she is also a poet. Her poems have appeared in Parnassus, Ploughshares, The Gettysburg Review, The Kenyon Review, Poetry Calendar, The Literary Review, Raritan, and Seneca Review.
