Professor Susan Carruthers, Graduate Program in American Studies at Rutgers University will speak on "The 'Good Occupation': Military Government in the American Imagination". She is the author of The Media at War: Cold War Captives: Imprisonment, Escape, and Brainwashing and Winning Hearts and Minds: British Governments, the Media and Colonial Counter-Insurgency 1944-60 .
