Dr. Thomas Biebricher, Goethe Universität Frankfurt, will speak on “Europe and the Future of Neoliberalism." Thomas
Biebricher is a Junior Research Group Director at the interdisciplinary
Cluster of Excellence “The Formation of Normative Orders” at the Goethe
Universität in Frankfurt. The theme of the research group is “Varieties
of ‘Neoliberalism’ and their Transformation”. His work has appeared in
Philosophy and Public Criticism, Economy and Society, Theory&Event
and the European Journal of Social Theory. He has just completed an
introductory textbook on neoliberalism (Neoliberalismus zur Einführung,
Junius, forthcoming 2012) and is currently working on a book manuscript
entitled ‘The Political Philosophy of Neoliberalism’. He can be reached
