This course is a continuation of GPSY 6109. In this course, there is a greater emphasis on hands-on training and the application of the concepts and techniques introduced in the introductory course. Emphasis is placed on the management of the recovery process. This is a required course for those individuals who wish to obtain an MA degree with a concentration in mental health and substance abuse counseling. This course provides 75 clock hours of New York OASAS approved CASAC training. For Lang students, this course is available to seniors only.
