Term:

Subject Code:
GPSY
Course Number:
6203
This course considers brain-behavor relationships in cognition and emotion. Specific deficits due to localized brain lesions affecting the major domains of perception, memory, language, spatial cognition, and skill will be illustrated with data from single-case and group studies, as well as deficits that impact affect, motivation, and social skills. Some conclusions are drawn about how the brain is locally specialized (i.e., modular) and yet generates integrated behavior.
