Recently there have been a number of debates concerning religion, secularity, and modernity. In this course we will focus on some of the key positions proposed by John Rawls, Charles Taylor, Jurgen Habermas, Robert Audi and Nicholas Wolterstorff, and Jose Casanova. We will also consider some of the critical literature concerning their work.
