Program information sessions are usually the first contact that aspiring students have with The New School. Held in an open forum, these typically include a presentation and Q&A with faculty and admission representatives. Information sessions are scheduled at convenient times for working students.

application essays in detail, focusing on the purpose of each essay in
the admission process, how they are evaluated, and tips on preparing for
and writing them. We also cover transfer credits, financial aid, and
other items important in the application process.
One-on-one appointments with an admission counselor can be scheduled Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Campus Tours
Student-led tours will not take place on Fridays from June 14 through August 9, 2013. Tours will resume their regular Monday through Friday schedule starting on Monday, August 12 at noon.
Student-led tours of The New School's Greenwich Village campus are conducted throughout the academic year. Sign up for one of these small groups to learn more about the university. You'll visit classrooms, libraries, computer labs, administrative offices, and other points of interest.
Tour Schedule: Monday through Thursday at 12:00 noon. Tours begin in the Office of Admission at 72 Fifth Avenue (at 13th Street), 3rd floor, and last about one hour.
