RELEASE OF VOLUME 22, NUMBER 1

September 5, 2000

The editors of the Graduate Faculty Philosophy Journal are pleased to announce the release of Volume 22, Number 1, The Renewal of Materialism.

This issue is guest-edited by Charles T. Wolfe, who contributes an insightful Introduction. The issue is largely concerned with the materialism of the eighteenth-century French Enlightenment. There are also essays that look at materialist ideas in seventeenth-century thinkers and at contemporary materialism.

Rounding out the issue is Miguel Vatter's substantial review of Critique and Totality, Pierre Kerszberg's new book on Kant. This review is remarkable both for its range and for its ability to engage with the various levels of Kerszberg's treatment of Kant.

We hope that our continuing subscribers will find this a rewarding issue and that new subscribers will regard it as an excellent introduction to the Graduate Faculty Philosophy Journal. We are also happy to fill single-issue orders.

Should you wish to purchase this issue, or any others, please visit our online order form. The form can also be used to request subscriptions.

Thank you for your support.
