This liberal arts program is being designed to develop students' skills in studio production as well as their understanding of contemporary urban and global music as an art form responding to political, technological, and philosophical concerns. BA Theater is being designed as a liberal arts program that will combine the skills-based training of the graduate-level New School for Drama with the nonconservatory model of Eugene Lang College. The program will integrate the study of dramatic literature, history, and theory with performance and production.
